Belgium Model Academy is a non-profit organisation for models and photographers.

Belgium Model Academy was created on the assumption that many photographers working together can offer more than a single photographer working alone. In a joint photo shooting session, the models can get pictures from all the photographers, each with their own style. And besides, group activities are always more fun!

BMA provides a free training for models. The academy organises numerous photoshoots (individual and in group). We work together with talented international photographers and also offer different workshops: expression, catwalk training, presentation,... Most of the workshops are provided during the “shooting days” (weeklong international shootings)

Belgium Model Academy is a non-for-profit organisation.
All activities are free of charge. The planning is done in consultation with the models and associated photographers. At least twice a year we'll do a fotoshoot in Germany and in France. We'll stay in France for one week to explore the region where we settle.

• No experience at all? Many of you have dreamed of a career as a model. Belgium Model Academy offers you the chance to get a complete course, to get a professional portfolio, to make contacts with fellow models, photographers and organisations,... There are no hidden costs or strings attached, but the number of scolars attending is strictly limited since we provide individual counselling. • Already full of experience? Get in touch with us and share your experience and knowledge with young men eager to learn the job. Join the club and enjoy new photoshoots to get a more complete portfolio.

Accomodation is provided free of charge for all “shooting days”.

As a future model, you'll need much more than a simple portfolio, and even a portfolio is not just a bunch of pictures taken from one photo session provided by one single photographer. You really need to work with numerous international photographers. A good portfolio will prove that you have the experience required to become a real model eaning big bucks. Each photographer will learn you some of the 'tricks of the trade'.

Belgium Model Academy works for free, but wie are not walking on thin ice. We are a registered non profit organisation and we work together with external advisors, guest photographers, modelling agencies, potential clients and event organisers.

Since Belgium is such a small country, it's no wonder that nearly half of our activities are on foreign ground.
